Reaching Multiple Constituents.

Each year, 147,000 cases of colorectal cancer (CRC) are diagnosed and people with Crohn’s and colitis are at a higher risk for developing them. Our challenge was to generate awareness of Crohn’s and colitis among high-risk groups, general practitioners and potential donors.

We created the first ever run/walk in Southern California for the organization. The event attracted 1,400 participants and raised nearly $350,000 its first year. Today, it has become the nation’s largest event dedicated to digestive diseases. Participants raise money for crucial research that wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago.
