Bill has managed versatile campaigns for a diverse array of clients, including: Ford, General Motors, Jeep and Kia in the U.S.; Opel, Vauxhall, Ford and Isuzu in Europe; GM in Canada; Hormel Foods; and Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital.  At J.D. Power & Associates, Bill conducted market segmentation studies to improve promotions, sponsorships, events, direct mail and direct marketing campaigns.

Bill has learned throughout his long career that marketers often focus so heavily on image advertising that they overlook the important details that earn them a reputation.  This has helped guide Bill’s approach to traditional account management roles and served him even more as he has become increasingly involved in client research and strategic planning.  Bill’s recognizing the importance of launching, building, or re-building a brand from the inside out has resulted in award-winning creative, the early use of online media and a healthy respect for the power of a simple message.

Bill came to The Miller Group for a simple reason: honest value creation at the retail and national level.  Senior creatives and account veterans serve the client.  There is no army of juniors putting in busywork and creating costs instead of value.  Greater expertise and efficiencies mean the greatest ROI possible.  It’s about stretching available budgets; about using as much existing material as possible and saving money at the strategic, not the executional, level.

Bill graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program and worked for many years at top global ad agencies.  He speaks several languages and has lived in England, Germany, Switzerland and Canada.
